REPA’s 42nd Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday, 30 March at the Brookfield Hall at 7:30 pm.
All Management Committee Positions will be declared vacant at the AGM. Please consider nominating for a position on the Management Committee; we should very much welcome your input. Nomination forms are provided with this Newsletter, together with proxy forms for the AGM for those unable to attend. Nominations should be received by 16 March.
This year, REPA has invited Louise Orr to talk to us. Louise is Secretary of the Brisbane Catchments Network and is the Community Partnerships Manager for SEQ Catchments. SEQ Catchments is a community based, not-for-profit organisation that works to protect and restore the natural resources of South East Queensland. Louise plans to focus her talk on the Brisbane Region update to the SEQC Natural Resource Management Plan. Louise lives in Pullenvale so she will appreciate our local issues.
After the AGM, there will be a General Meeting to provide the opportunity for members to raise any further matters. Our local Councillor, Cr Margaret de Wit and Dr Christian Rowan, Member for Moggill, have both been invited and it is hoped they will be able to attend and to address relevant issues.
